I bought my first Canon DSLR in college and started shooting family photography. It has been my part-time passion while I also pursue another career.
I shoot with a Canon EOS R and a T3 for a backup camera. The lenses that I use are best for portrait photography. For indoor sessions I use an external flash to create more light and for outdoor to reduce shade on your face while still capturing the beautiful landscape.
I am based in Cleveland, Ohio and have traveled locally. Want to travel somewhere beautiful and adventurous that I've never been? I will work with you to come up with the best possible plan to keep costs reasonable. Travel feels with depend on the season and location.
Most portrait sessions book 1-2 months in advance. BUT I do receive plenty of last minute requests that I try to squeeze in if my schedule allows!
For portrait sessions, I ask for 50% of the session fee as a down payment to hold the date, and the other half is due the day of your session. I'm pretty flexible, so if you have a specific need please ask!
I aim for a turnaround time of 1-2 weeks (sometimes less depending on the the season I photograph your story). You will receive an online gallery link with all your photos within maximum 8 weeks (sometimes less depending on the season I photograph your story). You can download all the photos from the gallery but also share them, choose your favorites, and also order prints!
I usually share a few of my favorite photos from your session on social media within a day or two (sometimes the same day- I'm just as excited as you are!). Feel free to share them-I just ask that you please give me photo credit by tagging me in the photos you share. Also, please do not alter my photos with filters to help maintain the integrity of my images.
Each session is very different. You never know what moments are going to come our way. I strive for quality over quantity, but I feel I am very generous when it comes to the amount of photos I deliver. I try not to limit it to a certain number ( I always end up sending more than I plan to).
